Sleep was difficult, especially in summer: the room stayed bright at night, and sounds carried from both the road beside the hotel and guests going up and down the stairs. Cleanliness was disappointing too. There were crumbs on the sofa, the sheets and bathroom sink were dirty, and there wasn’t even a sponge for washing dishes.

We arrived to find nobody there to greet us, and sorting things out by phone was difficult. The owner didn’t speak English and came across as unfriendly. Although I’d booked three rooms with kitchens, we got three very small rooms without kitchens. Worst place I’ve ever stayed.
