We spent one night here with our child and enjoyed it. It’s a bed and breakfast in a lovely, unusual setting, with really kind and helpful staff. There’s a sauna, showers and washing machines, and the Carolina pies were delicious.

The lakeside sauna gave us a lovely steam, and the kitchen was very well equipped. There’s some upkeep to do, though: the pier is broken and the pontoons need replacing, the upstairs interior could use renovation, and cleaning could be better.

Todalla is peaceful and cozy, with a great base for hiking and walks in the wilderness. The kitchen gear, like the pots and pans, could do with an update.
