The reception staff were very friendly, and the place has a welcoming, family-like feel. It's by the Torne river and fairly quiet, and good for what you pay. Getting here from Tornio-Itäinen train station takes quite a while, though. Some rooms are very small, with nowhere on the furniture or under the bed to put your baggage.

Elina was a really friendly hostess, and the service was great. The room worked perfectly well for three grown men. Breakfast had lots of variety and was absolutely great for five euros. We'd be happy to come back. Best wishes!

I slept well, the bed was comfortable, and the room itself was fine. Still, it felt too expensive for just a bed and shower for the night. The bathroom was a little grimy, though maybe that's just me.

The staff were friendly and the rooms clean. I asked for a lactose-free breakfast, but was given margarine containing milk protein and a little lactose, and I was in pain for the next two weeks. If you have a food allergy, ask to check the breakfast ingredients first.
