It’s a good apartment for a family city trip, and I’d have given it five stars if everything had been clean. We didn’t think the bed sheet was fully clean, and a family member got a skin allergy. The kitchenware also needed to be clean before we arrived.

We enjoyed two nights at Hiisi Home in Turku, Finland. There was lots of room in the well-equipped two-bedroom apartment, and the balcony made it feel even more spacious, though it overlooks the railroad. Parking is included in a garage about 200 meters away on foot, or around 700 meters by road. Check-in instructions came with three separate access codes.

We stayed three nights, four adults and two children, and there was plenty of comfortable space for everyone. The kids even used the glassed-in balcony as a play area. The modern residential complex has shops, walking and bike paths, and a playground nearby. There’s also a multi-story parking garage nearby that uses a code. We loved everything.

Parking is poor, and getting there by car isn’t easy. The residential area and the building itself felt really restless and untidy, so I wouldn’t choose it for a family with children. It’s basic accommodation in a basic, clean apartment. Read residents’ experiences, for example on anonymous discussion forums, to know what to expect.
