Scandic Atrium Hotel

The bed, pillow and sheets were good, the room stayed at a comfortable temperature with the heating, and there was no street noise. The shower was small, though, and parking was available but expensive. It’s an aged, worn, average hotel. Staff were courteous, but the only real service was checking in and out at the front desk. Cleaning could be much better, the wifi was spotty, and breakfast was average.

The location is very good, the front desk staff were pleasant, and breakfast was good. Rooms were clean enough and the quality was about what I’d expect for the price. It’s a solid hotel, but outdated and ready for renovation. I’d stay again if I were on a budget, though spending a little more might get you better quality elsewhere.

The hotel has free bicycles for guests to explore the city, but I was on a work trip and tired, so I left the ride for another visit. It’s a completely okay hotel, with a nice breakfast and friendly staff.

There are lots of rooms, and the place feels functional, but it’s missing some authenticity and cosy character. The swimming pool is tiny. Its location is ideal, between the city centre, the river, cathedral and castle. The rooms are quite dated but very clean, and breakfast was abundant and nice.
