Park Hotel Turku

I loved the charming antique decor, which gave the place its own character. My room was delightful and so comfortable, like a cozy retreat, and breakfast was delicious and satisfying. The receptionist was sweet and respectful and made the atmosphere feel warm. I had a joyful stay that I’ll remember. Big hugs from the great Portugal 🇵🇹

The old, eclectic house has lovely vibes, and the location is great. We came for my partner’s birthday, and the service was fantastic. They went along with all my silly requests right up to the last minute, arranging bubbly, chocolate cake, flowers, and a card. When my email didn’t arrive, they called me so they could get the card right. I also left my iPad behind, and they mailed it back straight away. Absolutely lovely. They made our weekend visit memorable, and if we’re in Turku again, we’ll definitely return. Can’t recommend them enough!

We enjoyed the room, the service, and the location. It’s an old villa with a history and classic comfort, and a lovely place to consider if you’re visiting Turku for a few days.

This was perhaps the worst value for money I’ve ever come across, despite having travelled extensively on my own. The building and courtyard are charming and full of character, but the place is basically a hostel with private rooms. My room was so tiny I could barely move. It had no A/C, fan, ventilation, or window screens, so opening the windows meant letting in all the Turku mosquitos. The carpet and poorly covered mattress were filthy, and the only fridge was stuffed with minibar junk. The neighborhood felt like nothing but porn and XXX video shops, Soviet-looking apartment blocks, and the park. It’s near nothing. The toilet ran all night, and a car alarm in the parking lot went off every seven minutes from 2 a.m. to 4 a.m. I kept count. There was no shampoo, the hair dryer looked like it was from the 1980s, breakfast wasn’t great, only about two TV channels worked, and the internet was very poor. I have nothing good to say about the place. After one sweaty, sleepless night, I packed up and moved to another hotel, hoping I can get a refund for this absolute joke.
