Scandic Julia

I enjoyed the visit 😎. The room and most of the hotel experience were on point, and breakfast had plenty of good options apart from the scrambled eggs, which were watery.

The rooms are roomy and well insulated, so outside noise barely gets in. Service was great too, with staff who were friendly and professional. Breakfast had lots of variety and delicious choices. Scandic Julia is rated three stars, but I think it's better than many four-star hotels. Keep up the good work 👍

A great spot in Turku, with helpful staff and clean, spacious rooms. It's good value and well located, too. Breakfast was brilliant, with a big spread and plenty of vegetarian and vegan choices clearly marked.

We had a lovely family stay with my spouse, toddler and baby. The room was good, and we had an amazing view of the river and the Cathedral. Breakfast was good, and our winning strategy was to eat right next to the play room. The children liked having that space to use, conveniently located by reception and the restaurant. Reception staff were all helpful, especially Milla, who answered lots of my questions and helped every time. The hotel is right by the river, close to the Cathedral and riverside cafes and restaurants. An elevator goes down to a shopping corridor with a grocery store and a good Italian restaurant, Panini. I also tried the sauna, which fits around 6-8 people on the men's side, and enjoyed it after a day walking around the city. One thing to know: they only have paper bags, no plastic ones. We were all very happy and I'd recommend the hotel for family visits.
