I enjoyed staying here overall, though there are quite a few practical things that could be better. The common areas were sometimes left dirty for a long time, and the cleaning every two weeks missed dust on the lamps and shades. A toaster, iron, and ironing board in the room would be much more convenient than having them only in shared areas. It would also help to have a small bucket and cloth for cleaning in the room. The kitchen was missing a rolling pin and tin opener, and we were given just one dish towel, which was inconvenient for everyday use. When my partner visited, I couldn’t get extra pillows from the host and ended up buying them myself. Also, be careful not to lose your card: the 75 EUR fee feels a bit ridiculous given how much we spent there.

The rooms and facilities were great. There wasn’t a luggage storage room, but the staff found space for our bags in a storeroom. That help wouldn’t have been available on the weekend, when there are no hosts. The check-in iPad is positioned too upright, which made it difficult to use.

I felt secure travelling alone, and the property was spotless with great amenities. The train station is about 10 minutes away and connects to a large mall with three supermarkets and lots of restaurants.

The room itself was lovely, modern, very clean, and smelled fresh. The shared spaces were a different story: there were lots of loud young people, some apparently drunk, and people screaming and throwing things outside by the entrance. It felt really unsafe, and I’d have appreciated a guard. One elevator was out, so getting a lift took a while. Check-in by yourself was a little tricky and slow, too. I wouldn’t recommend it to older people, or to anyone wanting a typical hotel stay. If you’re 18, you might find the student-dorm atmosphere fun. At bedtime I could clearly hear neighboring guests “wrestling” in bed, and the entrance smelled unpleasantly of food or spices.

We had a clean, comfortable, well-equipped room, and the bathroom was lovely with a great shower. The location worked perfectly for visiting relatives.
