Hiisi Hostel Vihti - Private Rooms

The room itself was fine, and the pillows were pleasantly thin. But this is self-service accommodation, so other guests' behavior can make or break the stay. Paying for a room and then finding a sink piled with smelly dishes and toilets that hadn't been scrubbed was pretty annoying.

This was my second stay, and I’d come back a third time. Everything has gone as agreed. The building used to be a police station, so turning offices into accommodation brings its own challenges. Given those limits, I think it would be hard to do much better with the building. The beds are old, but they’re cleaned weekly. The sauna is warm every day, and there’s room in the yard for equipment, which can be left there undisturbed.

I stayed for one night. The ventilation wasn’t working properly, and there were shared toilets with the smells that go along with them. If there’s a nearby B&B, I’d consider staying there instead.

Really poor accommodation. The air was bad and smelled musty, and there wasn’t even a sink for brushing your teeth.
