Seeing the northern lights from our bedroom window was the most breathtaking thing I've experienced in years. The cottage's isolation made the whole stay feel special. We had bought all our food at a hypermarket in rovaniemi and were completely cut off from everything. The room was very cosy, and we also enjoyed the sauna. Our host made a hole in the ice for us and told us that tourists usually come by bus to this lake to look for northern lights. We got to see them while staying at home in our cottage. Lovely hosts, would absolutely recommend.

We picked this place for a better chance of seeing the aurora, and we did. Chalet Pihka worked really well for our family, with a fully equipped house, activities for everyone, and even a reindeer farm the kids loved. When our car had a problem, the hosts came to help quickly. We really appreciated their friendliness, and they also helped arrange a safari. We drove to Rovaniemi almost every day for Santa Park, Santa Claus Village, and the surrounding area. It was totally doable and hassle-free. The roads were a bit icy, but the cars are prepared for that and local drivers are careful. We'd definitely recommend the place and plan to return.

We were two families staying in house Naava. It was warm and cosy, with all the equipment we needed and then some. The staff were very friendly, and the lakeside setting among the forest was wonderfully quiet. Highly recommended!

Cottage kaarna was cosy and had everything we needed, including a sauna, right by the lake. We even spotted reindeer and northern lights from the bedroom window. Perfect for a couples' holiday.

Reike chalet is a lovely place. We spent five nights there, right in front of the frozen lake, and it was so quiet. The chalet is beautiful and has everything you need, including an electric sauna and fireplace. Jaana helped us so much, and we're really grateful. I'm already missing the place and hope we can come back.
