The lagoon was great for swimming and snorkeling at high tide, and the sunset views were amazing. I also found plenty to do nearby, or I could take the bus to Sigatoka. I chose Bedarra Beach Inn because I wanted to support a locally owned place instead of an international resort chain, and I was really glad I did. It has classic style, a good location, lovely people, and a great bar and restaurant. They arranged transfers at a good price, and the process was easy. Early check-in was no problem either. I’ll be back!

It’s a quieter resort, which makes it a good choice for couples or anyone looking to get away from the larger places. The resort is right on the beach, and the staff were all helpful and friendly. Most nights there was entertainment at the bar, with a local musician singing and staff sometimes joining in. The restaurant had a huge menu to choose from. Rooms are large and have great air conditioning. Wardrobe space is limited, but it didn’t cause us any problems.

The location is lovely, especially for watching the sunset from the beachfront. There’s plenty to do nearby, and I’d recommend the cave safari tour from sigatoka. Snorkeling from the beach was good when we got the timing right with the tide and stayed clear of the side current. The rooms were really nice, with a big shower. The outdoor pool was large and warm, while the smaller one was a bit cooler. The bottom of the larger pool was very rough, though, and it wore the skin off my son’s and my toes and fingers. It was really sore.

Having the beach right across the road was such a luxury, and the staff were extremely friendly and made sure we had what we needed. The hotel also worked well as a stop between Nadi and Suva. We had an absolutely amazing time and were really happy with our stay.
