Kaila Na Ua Resort

A lovely boutique resort with beautiful tropical grounds and no crowds. The hosts were fantastic and friendly, and there are great restaurants just a short walk away. The bus stops right outside, so getting to Sigatoka without a car is easy. We had free, unlimited use of paddle boards and kayaks. We loved our stay and will be back.

The owners were helpful with everything, from arranging airport transfers and booking activities to providing a bus pass for town. You can feel the care they put into running the resort, and we had a great time. The location is beautiful and it’s easy to reach plenty of amenities by car. There isn’t a dedicated beachfront lounging area for guests, though; some nearby resorts had beach chairs, while here there was a privately raked beach. That didn’t bother me, but others might find it disappointing. My room also had a few things I’d improve, mainly water pressure and other minor inconveniences. For the price, it was especially good value, and I’d recommend it.

Roz and Warren Lake gave us such a warm welcome, and their care and attention to detail made the stay even better. The peaceful surroundings were just what we needed to get away from everyday life. We woke to birdsong and the soft roar of the waves, with a fresh ocean breeze around us. Every moment felt refreshing. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to relax and enjoy nature.

There’s a pool for guests, and the WiFi worked reasonably well. The rooms don’t have air conditioning or a TV, but the fans were good. The host was helpful with local knowledge and information about tours and food. Rooms are lovely, and the location is awesome, right across the road from the beach and within walking distance of several places to eat. Well worth checking out.
