I was happy with the facilities, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Our one-bedroom place had working AC, which I really appreciated in the heat, and the car parked inside the garage door so we felt safe. But the bathroom-bedroom wall stops short of the ceiling, so sound and smells carry through. That evening after I got home, I found a bedbug crawling near my face. I’m certain it came from here. I have very long hair, so it may have been hiding in it, and I’m very grateful I found it before it could infest our home. I know bedbugs can be hard to get rid of, so the owner will need frequent extermination. It seems the mattress was replaced recently, but they can hide in all kinds of furniture, especially wood, and getting rid of them takes a lot of work.

The owner and staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the service was 10/10. It’s near town but tucked away somewhere quiet, which worked well for families. Whenever we needed something, we could ask them and they helped where they could. I’d definitely recommend it.

I stayed with my family of four on three separate bookings during June. The first place was a spacious three-bedroom home on its own, with parking at the side. Getting in and out was a little tricky. There was no dryer, but I could use the washer and dry clothes on the shaded line. The bedrooms had plenty of drawer space, though nowhere to hang ironed clothes. One room smelled of insect repellent; housekeeping brought air freshener, which worked fine. One two-bedroom unit was a good size, but its washer was out of order. Housekeeping offered to wash and dry our clothes, and there was enough drawer and hanging space. The other two-bedroom apartment was beautiful, with two master bedrooms, a washer and dryer, and an outdoor sitting area by the carport. It lacked drawer and hanging space, though, and the bathroom-bedroom wall was open at the top, which made using the bathroom awkward if someone was in the bedroom. The staff were very friendly. At check-in we got one water bottle and a litre of milk. Pots, pans and cutlery were available for cooking; all rooms had AC, the beds were clean and comfortable, and the shower was warm. There’s a nearby store for fresh bread in the morning, and they provided an electric gate key. Wi-Fi was free. Security was there at night, though one morning at 3am we were woken and asked to move our car for another tenant’s airport trip, even though security had said we could park there when we got back late. We also had to ask for towels, as there was only one per room. The rooms were clean, though in the tropical setting we did see cockroaches and spiders. The ironing board covers need replacing and the iron cord needs attention.

The staff were great, and the owner understood our situation even though they weren’t on site. We appreciated their understanding. The access into the property was fine, but the three-bedroom apartment we had wouldn’t have worked for my daughter, who has a disability, because showering and similar tasks would have been very difficult. Other accommodation in the complex might suit her. If our needs had been different, this would have been a good place to stay. Thanks to the staff and management.
