Sapphire Bay Fiji

The villas are so beautiful it almost feels unreal, and the view is the best part. There are plenty of rooms for privacy, plus all the amenities, including bathtubs.

We had a lovely time unwinding and enjoying each other’s company in such peaceful surroundings. The location and outlook are stunning. We booked two villas next to each other with friends, though both the furnishings and the property itself need quite a bit of maintenance and care. The owners might also turn the laundry into an en-suite for the back bedroom. Getting down the hall to the third bathroom was quite a trek. Fixing those things would make the stay much better for the price.

That infinity pool and the view were the highlights. The villa itself was nice, but could use an update and more dresser space. We lived out of our suitcases all week. Please be cautious about locking your bedroom door at night: on our last night, someone came into the house and entered the bedrooms while we were asleep. They took all my friends’ money. The only ones whose room doors weren’t locked were the friends who lost their cash. It was frightening to think someone had been in the house with us while we slept.

The hosts were really helpful and sorted out anything we needed. It’s a massive house with beautiful views and plenty of room for a group of 10 or more. It’s a bit dated, though the price reflects that. You’ll need a car since there isn’t much nearby. Amazing place.
