Wananavu Beach Resort

The gardens are lovely and restful, and there are nice walks around the area, plus scuba diving and other activities. The bay has some good places to swim or snorkel. Food was nice, though the fish and chips could have been better. Rates were reasonable, and the accommodation was a little tired but very clean.

The staff are really friendly and always smiling, and the service was good. I do wish they had a conference hall. The sunset horizon is superb, so bring your fishing gear and scuba equipment. The food is great, as long as you can manage the portions!

We were there with a wedding party, and the day was stunning. The staff had put everything together so well, and they were absolutely lovely and considerate. I couldn’t have been part of a more amazing day. Our five-night package included all the food, which turned out to be great value. Big thanks to Keleni and her team for making the holiday so magnificent. I’d absolutely recommend the resort for a destination wedding or a beach holiday away from the cities.

The resort was great overall, with friendly staff, facilities in good condition, and a clean, well-presented feel. We liked the restaurant overlooking the pool. In the evenings, though, local insects came up through the floorboards while we were eating, so I’d suggest dining indoors at night.
