The hosts were so welcoming, and we spent a lovely time chatting with them. I was nearly the only guest, so there wasn’t much chance to socialize with other visitors, but talking with the hosts was great. When I arrived, I’d left my duffel bag on the bus, and they drove me into town to the bus station so I could get it back. The homemade dinners and fresh honey were reasonably priced and well worth trying. The homestay is quite far from town and shops, so unless you bring food, eating there is pretty much your only option. It was one of my best homestay experiences.

The hosts are very helpful and accommodating. There’s a lovely pool and bar, and the place is clean and friendly, set on a rural farm with nice views of the mountains and valley. They make excellent honey, and homemade meals are available if you ask ahead.

A sweet, hippie-like atmosphere, with a hammock, a nice pool, and really good “white men's food.” The couple running the place were super friendly. They also have two adorable little dogs and a cat. I warmly recommend it!❤

We went with my wife and friends and had an unforgettable BBQ by the fireplace under the mango tree. The saltwater pool was refreshing, and it was just the place to rejuvenate. A lovely escape from Suva, with wonderful hosts and fairly short runs to the beach and fresh food market.

The valley around Rakiraki is so serene, with beautiful mornings and sunsets. I walked through it toward the farms and would encourage passersby to stop and enjoy the natural scenery. The air felt so clean that I noticed every breath in my lungs. This eco-accommodation won a local SME award, and the owners have done a marvelous job. Highly recommended.
