The people at Mishra Residence made me feel looked after. They checked in regularly to see how I was doing, were easy to talk to, and happily suggested restaurants and useful spots nearby. It was already comfortable from the start: clean, well-kept, and homey, with a peaceful feel that made it easy to settle in. Their kindness made my visit memorable, and I'd recommend Mishra Residence to anyone wanting a welcoming place to stay.

Mishra’s residence worked out really well for my parents when they came to visit me in Suva. They're elderly, and the hosts were very kind and took good care of them. The facilities were very clean and had the basic necessities. It's close to small shops, and a short taxi ride gets you to the city centre and other shopping centres. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely book again next time.

I spent two nights at Mishra Residence in one of the rooms in Mishra's apartment. The bed was comfortable, the room had enough space, and everything was very clean. There are other options too: more rooms in the apartment, rooms in an independent apartment in the same building, and a studio in a small separate building. Mishra himself is what makes it special. He's welcoming and attentive, and can tell you all about Fiji and Suva, suggest places to see and eat, and help improve plans that are still half-baked. His instructions are clear and to the point, which makes sense as he's an ex professor. He's also an ex karate champion, a former restaurant owner, and a passionate traveler. You'll probably find that out over tea while he makes you feel at home. If I return to Suva, I'd stay there again without hesitation.

He'll look after you with all his heart. The hospitality is the best. I recommend Mishra Residence if you want budget accommodation that's safe and gives easy access to town and anywhere in Suva.

Agam and Bobby are warm, helpful hosts, and it's clear they care about their guests. This isn't a luxury hotel, but the hosts keep it very clean and in good shape. Getting around is easy. A taxi to the city centre takes about 5 minutes and costs around FJD 5, while the bus is around FJD 1. I stay here whenever I visit Suva.
