I know there are lots of negative comments, but you look at the photos and reviews before checking in, right? It’s old and not clean, though okay for one night, just one night. A room with air conditioning costs 80 Fijian dollars.

For AUD$34 a night, I didn’t expect much from a hostel with a private double room, and it met those low expectations. The place was basically terrible: the air conditioner leaked, the neighbours were noisy, and the staff weren’t helpful. I spent the rest of my two weeks at USP campus accommodation, which felt luxurious by comparison.

A cheap hotel within walking distance of the port and bus station. Our rooms didn’t have air conditioning. If an air-conditioned room is available, it costs only a few dollars more and is worth it.

I booked two nights and left after the first. The service was bad, the rooms horrible, and the bathroom disgusting, with a dirty sink full of hairs. The rooms smelled awful too. I’d never come back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place.
