I wouldn’t stay here again. For what I paid, I expected the room to be cleaner and better maintained. There were cockroaches, and the bathroom had mould and didn’t feel hygienic. The whole experience was very disappointing.

The beach works best at high tide, so it was handy having a nice pool too. For food, though, the supermarket out front mostly sells fresh vegetables and things you’d need to cook from scratch, not much for a quick meal. With a car, True Marts Yadua (38km) or Navua (58km) are better stocked. The restaurants out front were okay, and the coastal restaurant a few minutes up Queens Rd is a good option. There’s a liquor store next door, opposite the Maui Jetty. Our unit had two good-sized bedrooms and a big kitchen and living space. The balcony was pleasant for sitting with a drink, though only about 1.5 mtr wide. The sliding doors were stiff and awkward to use.

It felt like a home away from home, and we loved being there. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the big, exceptionally clean pool was great too. The beach is only a short walk away. Having a supermarket and restaurants nearby saved us a lot of money. The staff took such good care of us and made sure we had what we needed. Special mention to Hasina and Frances. We can’t wait to return and see our new friends.

The rooms are huge, with a full-sized, well-equipped kitchen, and there’s a full-sized grocery store right next door. The bed was very soft. The pool is nice, though it’s too deep to just relax in with a drink since there’s no waist-high section. For snorkeling, the beach is a block away across the road. At high tide, from morning until early afternoon, it’s great, and you can also snorkel around the pier from its end across the street. It was good value when I stayed, and my wife and I have nice memories of the place. Looking at a return in October, though, I saw the price is almost double, so I’ll probably book somewhere else.
