We spent almost every day out doing things, from floating bars to island hopping to a secluded beach where the service at your deck was five star. The locals were the happiest, friendliest people I've met so far. Those were the best 14 nights of my life. Thanks, Sheraton, for setting a holiday standard I'll never top.

We had some time to spare after staying at Sheraton Resort & Spa, Tokoriki Island, Fiji, so as part of the Sheraton properties, we checked our bags at the Fiji Airways office in the lobby and enjoyed delicious cocktails by the pool. I'm giving the rooms five stars because they look amazing in the pictures.

The place will always be a special family memory for us. The rooms were dated, though I believe they've been done up since we stayed, and the staff made the best of them. We had buffet breakfast every day in the main restaurant, which was very cool. The other two restaurants we went to at night were really good too. For a change, there are some great pizzas just across the road at the golf/sport club.

Being near Port Denarau Marina made it easy to head out to other islands, book activities, or find restaurants and shopping. We also liked the easy dining options on site, with a good range at breakfast, and watching the sunset by the water was a highlight. Denarau's beaches aren't the usual postcard white sand, but the setting was calm and lovely for walks. The resort grounds were lush and tropical, and the pools were large, tidy, and had room to lounge without feeling crowded. Our spacious room was clean and airy, with a comfortable bed, a tidy modern bathroom, good water pressure, nice amenities, and a balcony where we could sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Housekeeping kept it fresh each day. From arrival, everything felt welcoming and peaceful. Check-in was smooth, and staff were warm, friendly, and genuinely helpful throughout. We really felt that Fijian hospitality. Overall, we had a beautiful, relaxing stay at Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort on Denarau Island. We'd consider coming back on another Fiji trip, as a couple, with friends, or as a family.

The staff and service were amazing, and the villa was spacious, spotless, and close to the pool. We absolutely loved the delicious range of food at the Fijian buffet night. Definitely recommend staying here for a fantastic Fiji vacation.
