The staff made us feel welcome and were helpful, and we had a good breakfast each morning. We stayed three nights last year. The clean, comfortable room made this a good base for exploring the Faroes.

The shared kitchen in the guesthouse smelled awful, and the room itself was very underwhelming. We had expected a hotel room, since that's what had been advertised, but were put in the guest room, which was more like a hostel. The main light didn't work, and the rooms looked as if they hadn't been updated in a decade or so. There weren't basic bathroom supplies, so we had to ask for shampoo, body wash, and soap. The dispenser held disinfectant alcohol instead of soap. Disappointed, and I would NOT return.

The location was fantastic. There's a supermarket next door, and most restaurants and several bus stops are within a ten-minute walk. I spent a week in a single room in the hotel, not the guesthouse, and was very happy with it. The room was simple and clean, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom spacious. The staff were kind, and breakfast and lunch were good. The price felt right. My only complaints were the short cafe hours and the lack of a refrigerator in my room, which meant I couldn't keep many snacks there.

The beds were good and the duvets warm and cozy, so we weren't cold even with the windows open. We had to sleep with them open in September because the room smelled damp, like sewage or a wet dog. There was no bathroom ventilation, so after showers everything felt damp. The shower soaked the entire bathroom floor, and there was nowhere to hang towels. The rooms were tiny, with no room to open our suitcases, so we had to take turns opening them on the bed. Using the toilet in the room felt uncomfortable too. Breakfast was very basic, and we had to clean up after ourselves. The location was good, but at that price I wouldn't recommend it. If I had to book again, I'd choose a downtown Airbnb if hotels were unavailable. We paid a little extra for another hotel that actually deserved the name and offered hotel-like service.
