We stayed two nights at the end of our trip in mid-May 2025. The hotel is nice and well located, but construction took away from the peace and quiet. Scaffolding blocked our door, so we couldn't step outside or get some cool air. The AC wouldn't cool the room even when turned all the way down. Workers walking past looked straight into our room, so there was no privacy. The clear glass bathroom door was absurdly lacking in privacy too. Anyone in the room could see you using the toilet or shower, so we used the first-floor hallway bathroom instead. We raised all of this with the front desk, but they offered no accommodation, room change, or money back. Hotels usually let you know about construction so you can decide whether to stay or change your plans. I wish we'd had a better experience.

I loved the peaceful, beautiful setting, whether the weather was good or bad, and the room had an amazing view. The bed was the most comfortable I've slept in for a long time. Breakfast had a nice range of choices, and the honesty bar was a great touch. Service was warm and attentive throughout my fantastic stay at Havgrim Hotel in Tórshavn. Highly recommend it!

We stayed in June and really enjoyed this small hotel. The grounds were lovely, the view was great, and breakfast was excellent. The afternoon tea service was a nice touch. I'd definitely stay again.

Coming back to our sea-view room at the end of the day was such a pleasure. Those big, bright windows opened onto a wonderful view. It's a quiet, cozy little hotel with friendly staff and a great breakfast. We loved it!

The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and our room had a nice sea view. The hotel's surroundings are beautiful, and its location is a great base for visiting the Faroe Islands and getting around. Staying in the capital also means having dining options you don't find elsewhere on the islands. Food and beverage options and room maintenance could be improved.
