Hotel Brandan

The cafe food was delicious, and breakfast was good. They also offer a free glass of wine each day from 17 to 18. The hotel itself is modern and clean, with a high level of service. Check-in and check-out times were sensible, which I appreciated.

The complimentary wine between 1700 and 1800 was a lovely touch, and the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Everything looked almost brand new and was super clean. We also got to enjoy the live music from the G! Festival nearby. It brought a great vibe and energy, and made for a unique experience. We had a really good time and would definitely come back.

The room was a little small but livable, and the location is good. Cleaning was below par, though: after the room was cleaned, there were visible hairs and some dust in the bed. Our room faced the street and got warm, so I usually left the window open a little. On the first night, people across the street were partying and singing. Cars passing by added noise too, and it continued until midnight or later.

The staff were super friendly and helpful, and I had a very good experience. I liked the wine hour, and the room designs are a cool idea, with each one featuring a different point of interest. The route through the building is a bit odd: from a room on storage level 0, you have to walk through the restaurant to reach the gym and sauna, unless you go up and down by stairs or elevator. The sauna gets extremely hot, and needs a cold shower option so you can cool down.
