The shared kitchen and living room are spacious, the bedroom is comfortable, and the shower area is huge, with laundry too. Everything feels new and fresh, and there’s a nice view. It’s also just a few minutes on foot from downtown. Check-in and checkout are completely electronic and hands-off, which may not suit most people. Warmly recommended.

Otherwise, it was good and inexpensive. The code check-in should have been simple, but when I arrived at 11:30 PM, someone had already taken the key for the room I’d booked. Apparently the room had been changed without the update being communicated properly. I just wanted to sleep. Luckily, the person in that room was still up and checked online that their room, and its key box, had changed, so I was able to use their room instead. Then the same confusion happened again: someone arriving on another day hadn’t been told about the change and came into my room at night. That’s really unpleasant. Please change the key box code after each guest leaves and make sure people are properly told if their room changes.

The kitchen was nicely organized, with shelves marked by room number, and there’s a little parking area too. My room was roomy, with a desk and a comfortable double bed. The bathrooms are a bit dated, but they work fine. It was the cheapest place I found in Tórshavn, and it does the job, with the city center only a few minutes away on foot. Check-in was through a key box.

A very clean, simple guesthouse in Tórshavn, the capital of the Faroe Islands. It’s about a 10-minute walk to both downtown and the port. There’s a shared kitchen, dining space and lounge, plus shared bathrooms.
