The T3 apartment was clean, looked like the pictures, and had room for four, maybe five with kids and a baby. We came for a couple of days with the family while visiting France’s southwest coast, and the residence was lovely and quiet. I wasn’t keen on finding out at arrival that the indoor pool cost extra per person rather than per family. I’d happily come back for a much longer stay.

We paid for a room that wasn’t available, and the hotel has refused to refund us. The booking came through StayForLong, with confirmation arriving at 23:03 on August 7, which we’re happy to share. We called the hotel right after booking, but nobody answered, so checking in wasn’t possible. We never went there. We weren’t going to drive 100 km just to call a number at a reception that was closed. The owner’s reply now misrepresents what happened. It’s up to the hotel owner and StayForLong to sort this out. This is a pity to write, but one star feels generous; zero would fit better. Don’t book here.

A decent place to unplug for two days. The rooms are little B&B-style ones, like many places in Europe, and there’s no AC. It’s in the middle of nowhere, with no Wi-Fi or cell service.

Internet and mobile coverage were extremely limited. The staff, though, were great and very helpful. The rooms weren’t marvelous, but the prices were reasonable.
