Aux Petits Bourgeons

The calm here really stayed with me. Greenery blends into the forest, and there's a horse boarding facility nearby. Nadia and Lucile were around when needed, while still giving us space. The farmhouse has been beautifully renovated, with soothing decor and plenty of charm. Breakfast was delicious and thoughtfully made with local products. Aux Petits Bourgeons is an address I'll keep in mind for another visit. Thanks for such a lovely break. Peggy & Victor

The hosts made us feel very welcome, and we had a wonderful time. Looking out over the forest was especially soothing with all those lovely autumn colors. Breakfast was delicious and carefully prepared, with high-quality local products. The homemade Baulois cheese, jams, and cheeses from the area deserve a special mention. Such a charming guesthouse, decorated with real taste, and a superb peaceful spot.

The location near the GR1 worked perfectly for us. On day 1 we hiked from Rambouillet train station to Les Petits Bourgeons, then on day 2 to Montfort-l'Amaury train station, just following the GR1. Nadia and Lucile, mother and daughter, gave us such a warm welcome. The setting and food were fantastic. Dinner was inventive, and breakfast was generous, delicious, and varied. The bedding was superb, though the bathroom was tiny. That was the only little drawback, the rest was excellent. Okay, enough already. Is there any chocolate cake left?

Les Petits Bourgeons is such a peaceful place, right on the edge of the Rambouillet forest. Nadia and Lucile cooked delicious food and welcomed us so warmly. We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend and will be back. Thanks again, and see you soon.
