The bedding was very old and in poor shape, and there wasn’t even a double bed. With children, the owner quickly tells them not to move around much because of the noise. You also don’t get the amenities of a four-star hotel at that price. I booked through his personal website to avoid the big booking sites’ fees, agreed to €108 for two nights over the phone, and paid by check as arranged. On departure day, he sent an invoice claiming I’d only paid a one-night deposit, making the total €216 for two nights. The cottage is listed on Booking.com for €300 per week. BEWARE, DISHONEST PERSON!! THIEF THIEF THIEF THIEF THIEF THIEF. In short, move on!!!!!!!!

Breakfast is included, so it’s excellent value. The owners were incredibly welcoming, and the guest room is spacious and very well equipped, almost like an apartment.
