The manager has always been great to my family and me. We’ve been coming here for 10 years, from when my kids were little through their teenage years. Two years ago we brought my twin grandsons, who could happily spend hours in the pool. The sea is about a 10-minute walk away, with plenty of nearby bars and restaurants serving great food. A good holiday spot for families or solo travellers.

For €67, this was a positive stay and fair value for a two-star hotel. Parking is provided, which is a real plus, and it's fine if all you need is a bed for the night. A few things cost it a star for me: there’s no extractor fan in the toilet, the shower has one; the door handles are sharp enough to hurt if you bump into them; and the steel chairs are heavy. I’d also hoped for a hot breakfast, but they served a continental one.

The family room is huge, and the owners are lovely, though the owner does have a pretty sick sense of humour. It’s a small hotel that looks a little dated, but I mainly need a hotel to sleep, and this one was great for that. I could barely hear France winning the football final. The pool is a decent size, though with the sea less than a kilometre away, I’d rather head to the beach. Breakfast costs €8, which isn’t cheap, but there’s a good selection and you can eat as much as you like. I went 20 metres down the road and had breakfast for €5.50 instead.

The room was clean and had air conditioning, and there’s a pool area too. The hotel sits between the town centre and Millesim Plage, with a bus stop and several shops nearby.
