Those waterfalls nearby are beautiful, and the hotel feels close to nature. I stayed almost two weeks, and the hospitality stood out from my first day right through to the last. The rooms were spacious, the food was delicious, and everything was clean. Only downside: I played chess with the owner and lost. 😄 Thanks for such memorable days.

The scenery is beautiful, and the welcome was warm both times we came, once in May for walks nearby and again in December. We had the kind of fun, easygoing moments together that we enjoy, with plenty of laughter. The owner was always smiling and made us laugh. We slept really well, the children too, and the room was just right. They offered us an aperitif in the garden, served homemade dishes, and had lots of choice at breakfast. We’ll come back when we get the chance 👌🏻😉

The meal was delicious, and the room was comfortable and clean. Richard, the owner, welcomed us warmly, and the place had a peaceful, friendly feel that made it easy to relax. It was great value for money. A wonderful stay at the Auberge de la Poirie, and I’d happily return and recommend it!
