Late June was a nice time to visit: the beach was fairly clean and not too busy. You can spot quite a few sailboats, and the Canal du Midi lighthouse is visible in the distance. Breakwaters add to the scenery, with fishermen sometimes settling in for a few hours. Mussels cling to some rocks and crabs wander around. Just remember your flip-flops, since the sand gets hot underfoot.

This quiet, tucked-away beach is right by the Baluffe path and seems almost legendary, especially with the mystery of where the Baluffe rabbit inn is 😁. Vegetation covers the beach-facing sides of the villas along the shore, and Fort Brescou is already in view, along with a little cluster of rocks. It's a lovely place to discover.
