Le Jardin d'EDEN "réservé aux couples"

The rooms have been renovated, the air conditioning works properly, and there’s a small kitchen area. WiFi is available, though it’s not very good. You can get fresh towels every day from the front office, but don’t expect daily housekeeping. It’s not really a hotel, more like a very good three-star hotel in Germany. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the setting has a naturist, open-lifestyle feel. It’s a great place to relax with an open mind. You’ll either like the lifestyle in Cap d'agde or you won’t, there’s no in-between.

We phoned when booking to make sure we’d get exactly what we asked for. But when we arrived, nobody came to meet us, and the room we got was a poor one, not the one we’d ordered. There were no towels, and it was set up for disabled guests, which doesn’t suit us. In the morning, we asked to move to the room we’d booked. They charged us extra and didn’t even apologize for the wrong room or the missing towels.

Accommodation costs more than I think it should, though that seems true of the whole village, not just Jardin d'Eden. Still, it’s a great, clean place with lots of music and fun, for open-minded people. If you’re open-minded, you should visit at least once.

People of different ages and body types are out in public, enjoying themselves. This place gives a rare kind of freedom to express yourself, and I think it offers lots of ways to enjoy life here. It’s an experience I’d recommend to open-minded people, or anyone wanting to broaden their views.
