Saint Loup (CAP151)

The pool is nice, but it doesn't make up for how many things went wrong. Adge is a beautiful town, and the residence is close to the beach and city, but I found it disappointing in almost every other way. I wouldn't recommend this Odalys Residence, especially if you don't want to spend your vacation cleaning and sorting out problems. Our room wasn't clean when we arrived. The sinks, floor, and patio were dirty, and all the dishes needed washing before I could use them. Bugs were another issue. My unit and other guests' units had ants and other insects, and several times a day I'd come back to spend 10+ minutes dealing with them. I even bought insect pesticide to make it easier. Bugs happen at a resort, but the number I had to kill was embarrassing. Other guests told me some units don't come with certain appliances. The front office can provide many of them, but guests shouldn't have to ask, and what you get needs cleaning. Reception and customer service were very poor. If something goes wrong outside their short opening hours, expect to wait for someone to be sent out, with no idea how long that will take. Even the staff don't know. The Wi-Fi you pay for was unusable much of the time. Download speed might reach UP TO 1 Mbps, and there was no internet connection for more than half the time I was connected. When it did work, it was enough for a web search, but not streaming, video calls, or sending pictures in messages. From what I can tell, management changed recently. The newest reviews say management doesn't respond to emails. I can't verify that this is the reason for the lackluster reviews, but it's my speculation after reading them. Odalys responds to reviews but never seems to acknowledge that they caused the problem. Instead, it's always the customer who should have done something or fixed things themselves.
