SOWELL HÔTELS Les Jardins du Cap

The staff were all really friendly, and we'd especially like to thank Sandra at reception. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable, with two bedrooms and a sofa in the living room. The very kind cleaning ladies came every day, though you can put up a sign if you'd rather not be disturbed. We spent eight days there with our 9-month-old baby, and everything was great. The food was really good, varied, and tasty. The packed lunch setup worked perfectly when we wanted to spend the day out without missing the benefits of our all-inclusive package. The pool and shared spaces were very well maintained, and it was easy to walk to the beach and town center.

The apartment was old and dilapidated, and there wasn't even double glazing in any of the rooms. The shower was filthy, with hair in it, and the building was poorly maintained and outdated. I've never stayed in a worse hotel. We'd booked three nights, but parking cost €12/day. With two babies, the walk from there to the room felt enormous. The apartment had absolutely nothing: no starter kit, dishcloth, sponge, dish soap, salt, or pepper. Nothing!

The buffet was really good and varied, and even the bedding suited me perfectly. We had tennis courts, ping pong tables, and mini golf available, plus a playground right beside the restaurant where the kids could easily go play between courses. This weekend with my 1-year-old twins and 7-year-old son really recharged us all. Everything was perfect, and the team were professional and really lovely with customers. The setting was just right. I agree with Daydream599032's comments about improving the service, but this was our first time at Sowell and definitely won't be our last!
