The tea and fruit for travelers were good quality, and there was a shared area where we could talk with other guests. Room 7, though, was really small and difficult for me. I have a slight disability and hadn’t planned ahead. I gave room 1 to a guest and should have taken it myself. Still, it was a good experience and good value. 👍
The neighborhood was quiet, and the room was clean and spacious. Breakfast was included, so no complaints. We had a great night at Maison des Ambans. Thank you.
Communication was excellent, and the value for money was remarkable. The location worked perfectly, close to both the train station and the historic city center, and it was completely quiet. The amenities were modern, comprehensive, and efficient. The renovation is beautiful and thoughtfully done. The facade might not win you over at first, but that comes from urban planning constraints. Step inside and it feels like the 21st century. The good reviews are well deserved for a place in this category, equivalent to a three-star hotel.
We called at 6 pm to book for that same evening, and the manager saved the last room for us and waited. The welcome was warm and friendly. We recommend staying here.
For the room price with breakfast, it was still good value. We even found a small parking spot for the night just two streets away. The breakfast was basic, and the citrus juicer was full of peels of unknown age. The bedding was adequate apart from the pillows, but we had brought our own. Room 2’s toilet isn’t suitable for an adult weighing 120 kg. You get a lot in a small space, but hey, nothing was missing!
