Having a proper refrigerator was a lifesaver, and we also used the washing machine and cooked a little. Everything was super clean, and the TV was a welcome change from just CNN in a hotel. The place is right in the town centre, close to a grocer and restaurants, and almost opposite the suspension bridge and a large park. Parking is less than a block away, though arriving late at night can make it a bit difficult. Eric replied really quickly by email. I’d stay again in a minute.

The sauna and spa room was brilliant and so relaxing. Our apartment at Le Black and Yellow was spotless, with air conditioning, a kitchen, a lovely bed, and a good shower. Monsieur Alfred was great, and booking was easy and faultless. There are plenty of excellent restaurants and bars nearby for eating out and relaxing. A first class stay, and I can’t recommend this place enough.

When I needed to extend my stay, I had to switch apartments. Eric found me another one at short notice. The diamond had all the amenities I needed, and I’ll definitely stay with Melina and Alfred again.

The room was generally good, but there was only one tiny shampoo bottle for four people. I emailed reception with that and another question using the contact address from the check-in emails, and didn’t get any reply.
