Right in the city center and less than five minutes from the train station, so the location was ideal. It’s a family-run place, and everyone was very friendly. The owner made us feel welcome, and breakfast was generous. The place is simple but charming, with clean sheets that smelled freshly laundered, like home. Being able to get an invoice for business travel was a nice touch. Thank you 😊

I went with my family in August 2017: my wife, our daughters aged 3 and 11, and me. There were four of us, but the room had only three beds, and they were awful. The bedding was the worst I’ve ever slept on. The TV kept cutting out, coming back after four minutes, then switching off again. My daughter’s tablet was bigger than it. We booked for four people and still got a room set up for three. It’s a disgrace to keep offering this room and charging people. I paid €69 a night, but it was worth €20 at most. Getting there by car was impossible for us. First we had to find parking, then the entrance, marked only by an old sign that was barely readable. Inside, it was dusty, smelled bad, and was cluttered with a washing machine and other things. The stairs just kept going up to the attic. If you’re tall, good luck, and you’ll need to be nearly a professional climber. It was like an oven up there, around 30°C, with no air conditioning. The fan that was supposed to be in the room didn’t work, probably because it was caked in dust. The shower was on the landing and shared with the people in another room. There were dirty stains, a nasty smell, and little bugs if you leaned in to look. The water temperature was almost impossible to control, and my little one got scalded. Fire safety and general hygiene need attention too. The owner wouldn’t even give us a partial refund. On the phone, we were insulted and laughed at. I figured out the “secret 47.” If you stay there, you’ll get screwed over, and the owner seems to enjoy that. Don’t mix personal “pleasure” with work. Honestly, go to a normal, cheaper hotel like a first-class one, somewhere with at least basic comfort. One word: RUN AWAY.

How can a hotel like this exist in such a competitive market? It’s an absolute disgrace, like something from the worst reality TV exposé. I strongly advise against staying here!

We were in Agen for work when the owner cancelled at the last minute. The owner was hysterical, and we had to find somewhere else to stay or we’d have been homeless. Avoid this place.
