Mercure Agen Centre

The pool was a pleasure, and breakfast was great, with a good selection of local produce. I liked the sustainability touches too, like the recycling points on the landing. The welcome was friendly, and the staff member offered useful information without being asked, including a reservation at a very good restaurant within easy walking distance. Sorry I didn’t get their name. Access and parking were both easy, and the room was very spacious, with quality bedding and a good bathroom.

We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area. The staff made our visit really good, and the room was very comfortable. Breakfast had something for everyone. The pool was large, and the gardens had plenty of sun loungers, tables, and chairs.

Breakfast was one of the best we’ve had lately, and the minibar was free. Parking was easy and locked overnight. Reception service was faultless, with a very welcoming receptionist who was helpful with nearby restaurant suggestions. A very good hotel.

We had an accident with our hire car, and the reception team couldn’t have been more caring or helpful. We’re incredibly grateful for the way they helped us through a difficult situation. We can’t speak highly enough of them or the hotel. We always book the Mercure chain when we can because the hotels are clean, the beds and sheets are sublime, and the staff are cheerful and helpful.
