Appart'City Classic Nice

The location made getting around easy, with public transport nearby unless there was a strike, plus grocery shops and places to eat. Breakfast was fine, though the coffee wasn't great. The room raised questions about how well it had been cleaned: there was drill dust on the floor when I arrived, and the bathroom smelled bad. The toilet seat was broken, the bedside lamps didn't work, and neither did the wardrobe's sliding door. They supplied dish soap, but it burned my fingers when I used it.

The room had a microwave, mini fridge, sink, and the other basic necessities, but cleanliness was a real concern. The floors were dusty, the toilet smelled horrible throughout our stay, and there was nowhere to put shampoo in the shower. We were three, but had just one double bed, so one of us slept on a very worn couch. After a six-hour drive, we arrived late and found the hotel closed. We waited about 20 minutes to get in. The air conditioning didn't work at all in the extreme June heat, which was a serious problem. Breakfast was okay for a hotel with this rating. I'd spend a little extra for somewhere cleaner.

We found the rooms on Booking.com in a rush and paid nearly €300. My cousin and I had only been there an hour, and already wanted to get out as soon as possible. The place bears little resemblance to the photos. I suspect they were taken 15 years ago, when the rooms were new. It's all dated, dusty, and practically falling apart, and the bathroom smells terrible. Save your money and stay somewhere else.

I paid 240 euro for 2 nights, and this was a disgusting place for that price. The aparthotel was old, dark, filthy, and smelly. The lifts stank too, and the parking felt like something from a horror movie. The area didn't feel safe for girls or anyone travelling alone. The reception girls were slow and didn't smile. Worst accommodation I've ever seen.
