Night of October 28, 2017. The houseboat was really pleasant and decorated beautifully, and we got a super welcome. We arrived at 4 pm and spent two lovely hours in the Nordic bath, feeling completely at ease. That evening we went to Le Saint Amour, a restaurant Guillaume recommended by text. No complaints there. Breakfast was great too, though the other guests had left no suitable freshly squeezed orange juice for us, lol. That wasn't the owners' fault. We were sorry we didn't get to talk with Guillaume, but we enjoyed every chat with Eddy. Thanks to you both for a fantastic concept. We hope to come back as a couple and finally have time to chat. Best of luck!

The houseboat was lovely, and our room was spacious and comfortable, more than perfect. Our hosts were charming and welcoming. Its location is ideal, opposite the old town and only a two-minute walk away.

The prices felt high for what was offered. The village's main road is only 20 meters away, so the setting isn't peaceful or quiet. The host seemed self-absorbed and was much less diplomatic when we made what we felt were valid criticisms or suggestions.

On the show "Bienvenue chez nous TF1", they came across as honest and objective, as did the mother-daughter pair. The other duos didn't, in my view. One small point: the price is a little high, though not excessive. I'm a regular at bed and breakfasts.

Sadly, the houseboat's comfort and beauty couldn't make up for the welcome. We felt unwelcome straight away, and heard judgmental comments and inappropriate remarks about other guests staying there. I wouldn't recommend it.
