Everything you need is tucked into this cosy indoor village: artisan food shops, a couple of ski stores, a SPAR, and lots of bars and restaurants. Getting around takes a little figuring out, with all the different levels and entrances, but access to the pistes is fantastic. Plagne Centre is easy to reach by road, piste, or the Telemetro cable car.

There’s plenty inside the building, including restaurants and bars, a SPAR and two other food outlets, a gift shop, Skiset, Intersport, a ski pass office, and ESF. The free Telemetro gondola goes directly to and from Plagne Centre. The skiing is genuinely ski in, ski out at 'Le Paquetbot des Neiges Residence 2000), with the slope just 5 metres from the lockers. A great base for a ski holiday at this fantastic resort at 2100.
We had a great family trip to this ski resort and stayed in a studio. I'd suggest buying groceries or food before heading up the mountain. 👍
There’s a lot to do here in the snow. Just be careful not to confuse Plagne Aime 2000 with Aime La Plagne. The latter is about 30 km away across a very deep valley, reached by a narrow road with lots of winding hairpin bends.
The old Residence Aime 2000 building could use a refresh, though it has all the essentials on site: a ski school office, restaurants, bars, supermarket, and ski rental. Most of all, you come here to spend time outdoors. It sits a little out from the main La Plagne ski area, which may mean shorter lift queues, and the Telemetro makes getting to La Plagne Centre easy.
