L'Amalgam'

Magalie and François made us feel at home in their beautiful house, which has a lovely mix of warmth and authenticity. It’s a charming, peaceful place in the heart of France, and one I’d absolutely recommend discovering.

We had a lovely time in this cute little village. The host is a gentle, quiet man who speaks English very well. The room and pool were both spotless, and the children had a great time. In the morning, we were treated to a generous, luxurious breakfast. Thanks, we’ll definitely be back!

The dinner was delicious, the breakfast was sublime, and our hosts made sure we had everything we needed. We had a fantastic stay, and the children especially loved the pool and garden with the dogs. Our room for four was comfortable and beautifully decorated, with amenities you’d expect from a three or even four star hotel. A huge thank you for such a wonderful visit.

The food was a highlight at L'Amalgam'. We ordered the set menu for two, and it was plenty for us and our children, aged five and two. We enjoyed fresh bread, tasty charcuterie, cheeses, and honey made by the hosts, especially with the goat cheese. Breakfast was another treat, with plenty of variety, homemade yogurt, fruit salad, delicious pastries, viennoiseries, and homemade jams. The room was spacious and thoughtfully laid out, with comfortable bedding, toiletries, towels, and pool towels included in the price. Magalie and François gave us a warm welcome, and the setting was peaceful. We were charmed by the relaxed, friendly feel from the moment we arrived. L'Amalgam' is a real success, and we’d gladly come back and recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing, enjoyable stay.
