N'Atura Hôtel

A real little gem. The welcome was warm, everything was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. There's a riverside bar and pool, plus plenty of bars and restaurants a short walk away in aire sur l’adour. I especially liked having a Smart tv in the room, so I could catch my favourite shows from home and unwind. Definitely coming back.

The rooms are basic but adequate, and breakfast itself was good. I would have rated the stay higher if the man at reception hadn't shouted at my wife the next morning, accusing us of stealing food when I took my allotted pastry back to the room. At check-in, we had been asked how many breads we wanted for breakfast, supposedly “to save time” 😂. With only 3 out of 31 rooms occupied, shouting at guests seemed like a poor policy. The response below says a lot about the attitude here. We were alone at breakfast, and there was no sign or warning telling us anything was “forbidden”. And “forbidden”?? What is this, a concentration camp or a hotel?

So nice to be back! Rachel, Nathalie and Laurent gave us such a warm welcome.

The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and both the shower and toilet were clean too. The hotel welcomes dogs, and every room has wifi and a tv. Breakfast is self-service and good value at €8 per person. I enjoyed my stay and will use this hotel again. Since the previous owner moved on about two years ago, the new owners have been making good progress restoring the hotel. It's cleaner, breakfast is more generous, there's now a bar, and everything seems to be working. They've also got the swimming pool running again, and it's beautifully clean. It makes a nice weekend stay. The gardens on the north bank of the Adour river are being restored, which will take time. You can already see across the river Adour, and by next year the whole riverbank should be under control. On a fine morning, breakfast on the terrace should be a real pleasure.
