We'd happily come back. The pool was a lovely bonus for the children to relax in after a long drive, and dinner and breakfast were good value. The family room was spacious and the beds were fine, although the building itself is outdated. A good choice if you're after somewhere basic.

We were six, and check-in was quick. The woman at reception was extremely friendly, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice.

The restaurant was the real highlight, with superb buffet-style food, plenty of choice and great value: €15 for three courses Monday to Saturday. With secure parking and no need to leave the hotel to eat, it worked well as a stop on the way. We stayed two nights in August 2018, during the hottest weather France had seen for many years. Our room was clean and a decent size, the shower worked well, and the pool was great, though we could have used air conditioning. Macon is worth visiting and could easily warrant a longer stay.

The staff were very friendly and breakfast was decent, but the rooms were tiny and really hot. The evening food was poor quality.

We stopped here for one night on the way to our final destination. The room was clean and comfortable, though a little small as expected. The bathroom was clean too, but had a bath and no separate shower. A nice budget hotel.
