A couple of acres of lightly wooded grounds, with creeks running through them, make this feel like a little piece of paradise in the French countryside. Chef Eddy, formerly head chef at the Savoy in London, serves fine cuisine at very reasonable prices, in an ambience that's hard to match. There's also a small three-star hotel with very nice rooms at reasonable prices. Truly a slice of paradise.

The owner was friendly, though the place felt a little dated. I only stopped here on the way to a fishing trip, so I can imagine it may once have been amazing.

Eddy and jacqui are terrific hosts, and the place has a great atmosphere. What a great spot.

We slept well, and the room was adequate, though the housekeeping could have been better. The setting was undeniably pleasant and relaxing, and our room's terrace looked out over the hotel pool, which unfortunately wasn't open during our stay. The managers' welcome felt cold and left us completely uneasy. Such a shame.
