The location is perfect, and the apartment was clean, spacious, and nice. We had the maxi suite for four people. One bedroom is upstairs in a maisonette-style space, with a door for privacy, but no window or fresh air. At checkout we were asked to take out the garbage, start the dishwasher, and strip our bed. Vacuuming wasn’t required :). Given the price and category of accommodation, that felt strange. It would make more sense to offer cleaning for an extra charge and let guests choose whether to pay or do it themselves. We’d have been happy to pay.

We stayed two nights in a larger unit and had a great experience. The building was very clean, well built, and quiet, and the unit felt warm and welcoming, with the attention to detail we expected. It’s on one of the main streets, less than a 10-minute walk from parking, with easy walking access to the old city. The location was perfect.

Thursday morning, after a long, peaceful sleep in a wonderfully comfortable bed, I woke to find a lovely market set up along the length of Cours Mirabeau. I hadn’t heard a thing while they were setting it up. What a fabulous stay. My comments can only echo all the other superlative reviews, and I’m already thinking about when I can come back.

The beds were incredibly comfortable, and there was plenty of room for all of us in the Royale Suite. We stayed at les Suites du Cours just after Christmas with our parents and kids, and the view over the Cours Mirabeau was stunning. The high ceilings and scale of the suite really show off the 1655 mansion. Laurence and Yann were warm, professional hosts. We’d definitely come back.

Really nice design and a lovely owner. The place is on the sunny side of the course mirabeau, which is a great spot. Two thumbs up ;)
