We had a wonderful stay for a little over a week. Domaine de Carraire is on a very quiet street close to Aix-en-Provence, with a lovely green garden and a well-kept pool. At night it was just crickets and the scent of lavender. Our clean, cozy studio had everything we needed, good water pressure, quick hot water, and lovely-smelling soaps. The owner is sweet, easy to talk to, and kept in touch easily while we were there. There’s a nice bakery about a six-minute drive away. It’s a great base for visiting the area’s cities and beautiful villages. I’d recommend it to couples or solo travelers, and would definitely stay again if I’m back in this part of France.

The Domaine is in a quiet suburb of Aix-en-Provence, just a short drive from the center, and the small pool was ready for a relaxing swim. The building is old and full of Provence charm, while our apartment was newly renovated, clean, well equipped, and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Our bed was queen size, though not huge. There are a few other rooms at the Domaine, which may have different options. The host was ready to help, and we had a pleasant stay. A good choice if you’re visiting the area by car.

This was our third year at the Domaine de Carraire. It’s a charming place, close to Aix city center and not far from Marseille.

Our trip is in three weeks, but communication has been terrible. We reserved a room through revolute and tried contacting the accommodation by email, phone, and even through revolute, without getting a reply. revolute says check-out is at 06:00 in the morning.
