Domaine de Saint Clair

We picked this place for our last night in Provence, about 10 minutes from Aix and 25 minutes by car from the airport. The grounds and house were immaculate, peaceful, and beautiful, and our room was cool, spotless, and nicely decorated. The quiet A/C helped me get the best night’s sleep of our holiday, and there was even a menu explaining the pillows and bedding. The private pool looked out over the gardens. Florence kept us informed about booking and check-in, then put out a lovely breakfast with delicious breads and cheeses. Everything felt carefully considered, with good quality local products. A lovely way to finish our trip in the South of France, thank you.

We were on the ground floor and really enjoyed having the terrace right outside. Though breakfast was served on that floor too, we couldn’t hear it from our room. Florence had thought of every detail and laid out a delicious breakfast, including locally made jams. The property was spacious and quiet, and very close to town. Such a lovely stay. I’d book again without hesitation, and I’m already thinking about another trip.

Domaine de Saint Clair made a lovely base for exploring Provence. The property is stunning, our room was lovely, and Florence was kind, welcoming, and helpful. We enjoyed the breakfast too, and would be happy to come back.

The pool, tucked among beautiful trees, was a dream for relaxing, and the setting itself was really nice. Florence’s warm, attentive service was the standout. Our room was luxurious, spotless, and tastefully done, with an extremely comfortable bed. Breakfast was perfect, and Aix’s center is only 8 minutes away by car. This place was a wonderful surprise.
