The location is great, just five minutes from the bus terminal and one minute from the center of Aix. Having air conditioning is a real plus, and the staff were kind. At 80€ a night, it works well for a short stay. The downside is that the hotel is old and has no elevator. The toilet was clean, but the bathtub was very old and unusable because it had no stopper. Someone brought one up, but it didn’t work. And I could hear someone pooping in another room, which was disgusting 😖

The receptionist was incredibly arrogant and unhelpful, in a country with plenty of tough competition for that title. I’d avoid this place if you can. The air conditioning took more than 15 minutes to work, and the tap water was cold.

The room was extremely small and old, and there’s no elevator. Service was very bad. The receptionist, whose name is Kar..., was so mean that I’ll never come back. He also asked us to pay the tax without making any record of it.

The room was tiny, smelly, and right on a very noisy main avenue. There’s no lift, either, and the service was bad. They even tried to sell me a €100 mini room, basically a box under the roof with no window. This should be a one-star hotel. Avoid it. I travel for work and spend my life in hotels, so trust me.

The staff were really nice, and the location is excellent. It’s an old hotel, but decent enough for the price. I’d stay here again.
