We stayed in room 103. It was cozy and nicely decorated, though there’s no safe if you need somewhere secure for your things. The bathroom could use some work, since water easily gets onto the wooden floor. A small bottle of water in the room would be a nice addition, too. The hotel is charming and small, right by the center of Aix-en-Provence. A very professional and kind staff member welcomed us. There’s public parking opposite, and a little convenience store on the corner. We didn’t try breakfast, but it looked very good and costs 14€ per person. A good option for staying near the city center.

You have to go down to reception for every small request because there’s no phone in the room to call the front desk. The room also has none of the basics I expect at a hotel: no water, kettle, coffee maker, refrigerator, iron, or even luggage rack. Staying here felt like what I imagine a hostel might be like. For the prices they charge, guests should at least be comfortable. This was a real disappointment.

The location was perfect, with parking nearby. We had a great stay in a nice room, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome and gave us some really good recommendations.

Breakfast was a highlight, with delicious homemade yogurt, fresh fruit salad, and eggs. The service was warm and excellent, too. It’s a comfortable hotel in a great location, and the rooms are a reasonable size for downtown.
