The two small problems we ran into were the rough road, which could be tricky in a low car, and a stone marten under the car bonnet. That makes me wonder if there might be an infestation. Apart from those, I found the staff friendly, the place clean and well organised, and the views lovely. It was a very pleasant stay.

The kitchen was a little short on equipment, so making a proper meal was tricky. Otherwise, it’s clean, good value, and nicely placed: quiet just outside town, but close enough to pop in. The garden was good for our dog to sniff around without traffic worries, since the chalet sits back from the main road. Dogs are welcome for a small fee. I’d stay again.

The garden was beautiful, and the mountain views were stunning. Emilie made us feel at home from the moment she welcomed us with a smile and looked after our comfort throughout. Fabien and Laure were very warm and hospitable too. We had a wonderful stay, thank you 🩵

The spa was lovely, and the location was amazing. It’s a little way from the city centre, but getting there by bus or car is doable.
